What a week in year 3! Our class assembly, a trip to the beach and lots of fun in between! Well done to everyone they have handled this week with style!

Phoenix is participating in the #YoungMarketeers programme with #FoodForThought We had some excellent gardeners yesterday planting basil, mint, thyme and lettuce. 🪴

What a brilliant trip! The rest of year 3 got the chance to visit Everton nature garden this afternoon to explore nature, create squirrel feeders, plant our own seeds and even make our very own halloumi pitas with fresh grown fruit and veg!

@year3phoenix Well done to group one. We all had a fantastic time at Everton Nature Garden. Thanks to Izzie and Adam who showed us some amazing things and were impressed with the children’s science knowledge. The pizzas were brilliant and I hope all the children enjoyed them for their tea!

The first group loved their trip to Everton Nature Garden today as part of their food 4 thought work shop learning all about plants and where food comes from. Ending by making a delicious pizza to top it all off! The second group is looking forward to their visit next week!

What a brilliant week we have had for world book day! We have had dance workshops, PJ day, a special assembly with author Stuart Reid and the chance to read with our friends in @fsphoenix2 what a lovely week!
