Update: managed a short night walk after all! Children happy to use their torches! Haiku to follow to sum up the experience .

Playing indoor games or relaxing with friends now. Dinner at 6. All good.

We managed to fit in time in the pool before the rain came again. So no night walk :(
The animals are safe.

What a fab day. Children have been great. They've climbed, abseiled, made bug box, played team games, had fun, stepped out of comfort zone.

Update: the balance record has since been extended by other groups to 25, then 28 minutes. So they can sit still when they want to...
