Sarah slander aside, I really don't think the point of the movie or Nikki's character is to say that she was into Bear at all.

Her asking about his feelings was so just she could get it over with and move on with the friendship or lack thereof. He was like a brother to her.

My biggest Obsession take is that Nikki was a better friend to Sarah than Sarah was to Nikki.
Sarah did not deserve what happened to her. No one does. But Nikki tries to feel Bear out about Sarah before she shoots her shot. She wants to make sure she's not in Sarah's way.

@hao0047 It's not ridiculous to say that for a lot of people their GCSE and A-Level experiences shape the eventual path of their lives and for a lot of people breaking out of that path is too high-resistance and/or not something they're aware/believe that they can achieve

@hao0047 I know someone that wasn't able to do triple science in GCSE because it was over subscribed. This in turn led them miss out on their preferred A-levels and as such they didn't get to the degree they had initially wanted.

They eventually found the path they wanted but... 1/2

But I think Nikki is probably tired of dancing around the subject and would just like to get the conversation over with and move on to whatever the next phase of the friendship would be.
