BREAKING: A same-sex couple is suing their surrogate for $600K after she refused to abort their baby at 22 weeks in Canada.
Scans indicated the child had a cleft lip and a possible heart defect.
The little boy was born healthy.
That child is alive today not because of the men who purchased his life, but because the woman who carried him in her womb protected him.
Children are not commodities. Ban surrogacy now.
*the firing squad gives me a last cigarette but I don't know how to inhale without breathing in so i double-over hacking my cinder-seasoned lungs out, thereby surviving as the bricks where my upper torso once was are utterly pulverized.*
@Bombasotta The Sacrificial Lamb emblem, with a cross with a pennant looks similar to that of the Moravian Brethren (Moravian Church). But yes, if it's the protestant liturgical calendar it shouldn't matter overmuch.
@memeticsisyphus I enjoy this queueing discourse. While I personally find the zipper-merge late-merge logic compelling, in practice I cannot stand people who bypass the line, it's instinctual.
@Ok_idk_what@kunley_drukpa@MythoYookay Naval Cutlass or D-Guard bowie sword look like what I was thinking of.
Also:
- Bowie Knife (many variations)
- Arkansas Toothpick
- M1 Trench Knife (WWI)
-Marine Raider Stiletto
-Ka-Bar
- M3 Trench Knife (WW2)
I went through a few different sites including 7 wikipedia pages
@Ok_idk_what@kunley_drukpa@MythoYookay iirc there's a number of historic self-defense large carrying knives. Like the bowie. Others, iirc, looked closer to a smaller gladius.
@ruallsion@PreciousWizard@JadeAtrophis Right. Say what one will about the chart, but it does flow well, even if it is missing arrows/arrays instead of connecting lines - would have made it clearer for people who don't understand the flow, clear as it may seem to some.
