We can't believe how much our caterpillars have grown in 2 days! We were fascinated by the webbing - which caterpillars make to protect themselves and their food - but we can't find an answer to what food is in their cup! Can anyone help us? @InfinityAcad@SpaldingPriAcad
Year One classroom caterpillars have arrived! The children are very excited to watch the life cycle of a butterfly happen and develop their Term 5 Science knowledge! ππ¦ @InfinityAcad@SpaldingPriAcad
After a fun-filled Jubilee picnic with families, Year One have spent the afternoon making fruit salads using the leftover classroom fruit! DT learning plus using up fruit ππππ #ecofriendly@InfinityAcad@SpaldingPriAcad
Year One have loved their Science lesson making charoset and linking it to last week's lesson about what parts of plants we can eat! They decided charoset tastes "weirdly nice"! @SpaldingPriAcad@InfinityAcad
Today we used senses to describe fruit & veg and had great discussions about which part of the plant we would eat! The lesson created lots of curiosity and questioning! "Why do onions make us cry?" "How do vegetables get their colour?" #Scientists@SpaldingPriAcad@InfinityAcad
Year 1 loved their final History lesson of the term! We had a 1950s classroom - rows of tables, a blackboard and simple handwriting and maths lessons. The children were brilliant at comparing school's then and now and want to do it again tomorrow! @InfinityAcad@SpaldingPriAcad
