My entire scientific career I have been cautioning against climate doomerism. It’s dangerously unhealthy for young people and leads into apathy.

Humanity won on ozone depletion. Much of the world has been successful on acid rain and air pollution. Climate is winnable.

Not to be negative Nancy but the reality w/ community/ grassroots orgs is that they sometimes harbor abusers, mishandle accountability, & ignore consent. So don’t just throw urself into a space bc everyone is saying “join orgs.” Be vigilant & find ppl that you trust.
