He did not leave in the same way that Bang Yedam did. He remains under the same company and is pursuing solo activities while still not having the option to stay connected with his group. The company’s direction may have also been a factor in how things unfolded. Regardless, we wish him and his group the best. They are still capable of creating great music, and fans should continue to believe in the artists they support.

In comparison, Yedam chose a completely different path outside the company that previously managed him. He wanted to explore a musical direction that differed from the company’s original vision for his former group. Today, we can see the results of that decision through his collaborations with different artists and the creative identity (DIMO REX) he has built, particularly in the hip-hop and R&B genres he truly enjoys and continues to develop.

During our interview with him, Yedam expressed sincere gratitude for his time with his former group. He made it clear that there is no bad blood between him and the members. For that reason, it is important to stop spreading narratives that he was ungrateful. He appreciated the experience during his time with the group but simply wanted to pursue a different path for his music.

Let’s avoid unnecessary fan conflicts. Each group and artist is continuing to grow and succeed in their own way, and ultimately, they are all simply trying to express themselves through their music.
