I didn't hear much buzz early on for @MonsterTheatre Juliet: A Revenge Comedy at #yegfringe but glad the word got around because it was SO smart and hilarious.

Hotel Vortruba was quirky and silly compared to @ragmoptheatre previous play Falling Awake which was whimsical and dreamy. Both super creative high quality physical theatre. I preferred the latter because I am still having nightmares about that rat! #yegfringe

And to end the night, Let's Go to the Phones!! Might be the hardest I've laughed all #yegfringe! @IrrelevantShow #rubsomesqueezecheeseonyourbursitis ALSO, come pre-show for St. Basil's makeshift cafeteria, because the rhubarb cream pie out of the oven is +++

This was also the tightest turnaround time that I've had between shows - 10 minutes - thank goodness for the nice compact French Quarter! #yegfringe

All those shoutouts that the #yegfringe artists do - so many of them suggested Larry, so off I went. I wasn't sure how to feel most of the way through, but the most powerful moment for me was at the end when @CandyBonesShow spoke about how portraying Larry impacted her.

I can't go back in time to have professor Jem Rolls teach my high school physics and history classes!? The Walk in the Snow: the true story of Lise Meitner is a solid #yegfringe choice - captivating story of a woman born into the "wrong sex, wrong race, wrong time, wrong place".

@lizonstage @jessy_ardern I guess that's the luck of the draw with choose your own adventure - I picked several tracks that had 2 of the sisters interacting rather than monologues; those were definitely the most enjoyable bits. Didn't get cupcakes though!

@BreakenridgeYEG Least fav would be those without stadium seating, for those of us vertically challenged. Plus the venues without air con on a hot day (which we aren't really having a huge problem with this year). #yegfringe

I'm usually a Gordon's Big Bald Head loyalist, but decided to check out The Big Stupid Improv Show and Off Book, and they were both solid alternatives! So lucky to have such great improv in the city! @theatresports #yegfringe

Biggest surprise of the #yegfringe so far: Queen Lear is Dead. You had me at choose your own adventure play (roving through the church, to boot!), but the icing on the cupcakes was the 3 contrasting hilarious and heartfelt performances. Go see it!
