Hook: first few seconds — viewer knows what they're watching.

Re-Hook: right after — you tell them what's coming next.
Ex:
Hook: "We landed on a deserted island."
Re-Hook: "And to get out, we need to build..."
Skip this step and retention drops immediately.

Main: deliver exactly what you promised.

Pre-Final: never announce the video is ending
viewers leave the second they sense it's over.
