We’re saying goodbye to the Sora app. To everyone who created with Sora, shared it, and built community around it: thank you. What you made with Sora mattered, and we know this news is disappointing.
We’ll share more soon, including timelines for the app and API and details on preserving your work. – The Sora Team
@gardener98241@tetsuoai Since the update, irl robots now move with smoother motion than grok imagine 🤦♂️ and they’re trying to act like it’s an upgrade.
@naundob @Dotro187829 @tetsuoai This is so confusing. They keep praising all these features as upgraded- including the sound which literally consisted of
Swoosh, thwap, thwap, thwap, with the sound of glass shatter- which kinda sounded like rain static.
Like really, REALLY good at zooming. sometimes it even rotates and pans!
It’s so much better than that pesky model that would create dynamic scenes with realistic motion and true to life physics.
I’m so glad they updated it to Grok Imagine Zoom in edition. 🫥
@elonmusk Just want you to know, whatever the F you and your team did at xAI tonight with the latest update on the video generation model on @Grok Imagine, it's the last straw for me and, to lots of us to keep paying our subscription fee. Excessive moderation is one thing since mid October, but making videos dull and boring and camera zooming effect that we didn't ask for is another. Tonight's update is effectively making Grok Imagine unusable and worse than when it first launched.
I am not going to pay for another $300 for extra limits that's far worse than Sora and Veo. And I've been paying it since Grok Heavy's first debute. Not only "freedom of expression" is being tossed out of the ring, user experience on Imagine has gotten worse by tenfold.
WTF are you even doing man? Just shut down Imagine and call it a day. Ain't no one can have fun to "imagine" anymore if everything is restricted.
Good fking luck!
I am completely saddened to see what has happened to @grok Imagine with it's latest update. It's a massive downgrade in motion and it prioritizes slow motion and random zooming in that is not even prompted. Prompt adherence seems to be suffering. If you can't see the night and day difference here, I don't know what else to say. Instead of just talking, look at my comparisons.
I am very vocal and honest on here, this update is bad and it needs to be fixed. Grok Imagine used to showcase some of the most realistic and fluid motion, making it outperform a lot of other AI Video generators. To see it get butchered like this is extremely disappointing.
Please fix this or roll back the changes. I am not the only one complaining here, just search for "grok imagine update" and read the replies for yourself. The community is not happy. This is not the direction it should be heading in. People in the community need to learn to also be honest and speak up, step outside of your bubble for once. I trust the devs see our complaints and make changes to what was once an incredibly powerful AI video generator.
@grok Sorry i was referring to the posts regarding the video portion of the update.
How does the satisfaction rating score (regarding before and after posts) on accounts with less engagement, rather than verified highly popular users?
@grok how do the posts and replies from average X users compare to posts and replies from popular verified accounts regarding the new grok imagine update?
