Calling Filipino drag fans “toxic” just because they’ve defended something that they should not be “defending” in the first place is the most “gaslighting” way to escape from it. We did not defend Eva Le Queen for flopping global all stars or saved Minty from UKVsTW
@Funkyduck443262 Just read the comments on this same/exact post and you’ll know the whole point. I did not defend the people randomly throwing death threats and Jade already knew about it and said something. Now let’s get into my point that some posts are “generalizing” PH fans toxic.GENERALIZING
The whole point is that people should be careful in generalizing “Filipino drag fans” as “toxic” and I’ve seen posts that do exactly that, and that’s so wrong in many ways. It’s hitting two birds, one that’s good and one that’s not or “toxic” if you’d like put it that way.
@SaCanalNahulog Nooooo, that’s not my point. What I mean is that we support queens specially when they compete in international stages and some of us know exactly when not to defend them. The whole point sa post is to make them realize not to generalize PH drag fans as toxic.
@urfavepopstarr Well I am not one of them, I support every drag queen from the PH that steps into the international stage. What I’m pointing out is that people should be careful in generalizing the whole Philippines drag fans as “toxic”, it’s hitting two birds. 1 that quacks & 1 that’s not.
