WATCH | I witnessed a shocking and deeply concerning incident on the road yesterday. This kombi appeared to be carrying around 32 schoolchildren, which is far beyond a safe passenger capacity. The front seat alone seemed to have four passengers squeezed into it.

I am not sure which school the children were coming from, but the vehicle was travelling from Harare CBD towards Ruwa. The kombi had a yellow number plate (Registration Number: AGN 8817) and was not even branded as a school transport vehicle, yet it was carrying a large number of children while clearly overloaded.

This is especially worrying at a time when the nation is still mourning the tragic loss of children in the recent Gweru bus fire. The condition of the vehicle also appeared questionable, with the tyres looking worn and potentially unsafe.

Please share this so that the relevant authorities, parents, or the police can investigate and take appropriate action before a tragedy occurs. It seems the driver may be avoiding peak police patrol times by operating early in the morning and later in the evening.

As a parent and concerned citizen, I am heartbroken to see children being transported in such dangerous conditions.

A foreigner is leaving South Africa and suddenly has a lot to say. His final verdict? Apparently South Africans are lazy.

WATCH This incident occurred today, 27 June, at Musami Cross, Domborembudzi. These schoolboys boarded a Bolt Cutter bus at Juru Growth Point heading to Mutoko. The bus was already full when they got on, but they were told there would be seats available shortly.

However, when the bus reached Musami Cross, it became even more overloaded. The boys then asked for a refund for the remaining part of their journey so they could stay behind and find alternative transport.

Instead of being assisted, they were forced off the bus and assauIted by the bus crew. The US$20 they had paid for transport was also not refunded.

Hello, Crime Watch Zim. Please help. Yesterday, this 16-year-old girl was physically assauIted by her uncle, who is a soldier who lives in 5 Brigade Military Camp in Kwekwe.

She sustained injuries, but her uncle is not allowing her to leave the house to seek medical treatment. The last time we saw her was on the day she was assauIted.

We are shocked that an adult could treat a child in this manner. The girl had been living with her grandmother in the rural areas before she recently moved to stay with her uncle, who is a soldier, and his wife, who is a police officer.

The girl’s surname is Taderera. We are appealing for help so that she can receive medical attention and be protected.
