Most people don't have any visible symptoms except a flu like symptoms like Sore throat, fever, tiredness, nausea, headache, stomach pain.

1. Meningitis (infection of the covering of the spinal cord and/or brain)
2. Paralysis (can’t move parts of the body) or weakness in the arms, legs.

Poliovirus is very contagious and spreads through person-to-person contact.
