@xenomorphpussy Their most fun fights are usually the most creatively bankrupt ideas if you think about it. Stormblood was just back to back crossovers and references with Omega and Ivalice. It’s also gonna be FFVII’s 30th so it makes sense.

In Rebirth, when you fight Gilgamesh he calls the party Warriors of Light. Granted. The term is used for a good amount of the groups in the series but none as much as FF1, FF3, or FF14. I wonder if it was just a funny coincidence.
