Indonesia Hospital and Joserizal Guesthouse in North Gaza Hit by Attacks, Medical Services Disrupted

North Gaza (17/5) - The Indonesia Hospital and Joserizal Guesthouse in Beit Lahia, North Gaza, have been hit by relentless Israeli airstrikes. The hospital's condition is dire, with shattered windows and ceilings collapsing onto the floor, disrupting critical medical services such as ICU, emergency rooms, operating theaters, and outpatient clinics.

The intense vibrations from the bombs dropped nearby have been felt like an earthquake, causing damage to medical equipment. The Indonesia Hospital, which was undergoing renovation, is now deserted following the evacuation of residents on May 16, 2025, as they seek safer shelter after a series of relentless attacks.

Not only the hospital but also the Joserizal Guesthouse, which serves as a residence for Indonesia volunteers and local MER-C staff, has suffered damage. The ceiling has collapsed, and shattered glass is scattered on the floor due to the impact of the nearby attacks.
