Oh my 💜. Tonight I hosted a reception for beloved thought partners - home for @UBishops convocation weekend! - to talk hope, delight, institutional change. Plus we celebrated their accomplishments, graduation& upcoming adventures @STLHESAPES and Shakesperience. Hope-in-action
Our new OLTC Program Design Fellows @YerGalSal and @AlishaWinter20 had a chance to sit down with Dr. Jamie Crooks to talk about his experience with the OLTC program. Read all about it: https://t.co/TkAbEdWlI0
Listening to @YerGalSal on the transformative experience of learning @CYPConference about EL + @stratfest is making me CRY. Her reflections of being broken open with vulnerability and emotional engagement alongside the critical thinking and cognitive labour is beautiful @UBishops
The @UBishops Online Learning & Technology Consultants project provided students with key WIL experiences where they supported professors in designing & delivering extraordinary 21st-century undergrad ed.
When asked about the BU OLTC program Sally Cunningham, had this to say:
Working w/students as partners & co-designers has been the most meaningful shift in my pedagogical approach over the past decade. I was delighted to co-host w/ @YerGalSal and @georgesphilgs a @UBishops session today on how to include students in the course design + delivery 1/7
Love to see @TheMapleLeague Student Fellows leading this program @georgesphilgs and as Online Learning & Technology Consultants participating in student collaborative design @YerGalSal in preparation for Fall 2020. Collaboration in the time of Covid 💜
This is a great example of a student-focussed and student-as-partner approach to Fall 2020. Great to see some of our @TheMapleLeague student Fellows at the helm - helping to design for inclusion, accessibility, and high impact practices @YerGalSal@georgesphilgs@tiffmaclennan
Today I connected with @TheMapleLeague Student Fellows. They are a balm for the soul in these stormy times. We talked about Yael Noah Harari & Arundhati Roy’s recent articles in @FinancialTimes and how we might imagine this time as a portal to walk thru w/ hope & transformation
