We were told it’s impossible to build a new desalination plant in Gaza using different parts that we found inside the Strip. But for The Sameer Project team, there is no impossible!

Around 6 weeks ago, The Sameer Project team hired contractors to work alongside our team members and constructed a desalination plant. This will provide a NEW source of fresh water in a genocide. We are hoping that production will be at 300,000 liters of drinkable water daily.
This desalination plant will run on gas and will save us money from having to purchase from other desalination plants. Costs for water distributions will drop meaning that your money will provide more water for Palestinians in Gaza.
We are in the final stages of finishing the desalination plant but we still need your material support as the cost of this ended up being $200,000. This is the last stretch, please help us finish.

The FAI has confirmed UEFA has approved moving the home Nations League game against apartheid Israel out of Ireland. Both bodies dodging their responsibilities, while removing our right to protest. FAI must not sportswash Israel's genocide of Palestinians, it must #StopTheGame
"The pace of change is staggering. Over the past decade, Ireland has gone from saving thousands of lives at sea to participating in missions that aid and abet gross human rights violations and advancing legislation to permit troop deployment to hostile military missions. Instead of sending our troops overseas to save lives, we may soon find they are being deployed to take them." Credit @DondeNiamh

What happened in Belfast was not spontaneous or organic. It was planned, organised far-right violence that *police had been warned about for months*. For months they circulated addresses to target... and waited for an incident to exploit: https://t.co/F7pRWXzcZ2
Israel has killed at least 565 Palestinian soccer players, coaches, and sports staff over the past thirty-one months.
Many more have been injured, detained, or forcibly displaced in Gaza and the West Bank.
Some of the countries participating in this year’s World Cup have been complicit in and even have actively supported Israel’s war crimes and its grave violations of international law.
I am boycotting this year’s World Cup for the sake of our shared humanity and in memory of Refaat and my other friends who loved soccer but never lived to watch and enjoy it with us.
Pre-genocide, patients with chronic illnesses would get their monthly fill from UNRWA but now that’s not possible for many. Abrupt cessation of medication could trigger intense symptoms and lead to fatal complications. This is why The Sameer Project does regular chronic illnesses days in certain camps, support now: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
The shortages in medications is a huge issue that everyone faces. In collaboration with MSF, we get some medications for free but we still have to purchase a bulk of meds for our mobile days. The typical day costs around $1,500 including commissions.
On June 3rd, The Sameer Project team visited Ansar 4 Camp in Gaza City where our doctor and nurse served 70 patients with chronic illnesses. These camps are chosen after being assessed by our medical committee.

What a beautiful voice, what a beautiful spirit. Abdullah is an example to us all with his determination and faith where he continues to sing despite the hardships and the loss of both his legs.
Contribute to our transport work: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
Abdullah is getting treatment and physiotherapy in Hamad Hospital in Gaza City. As a double amputee, travel is difficult in Gaza - it’s hard even for able people. So The Sameer Project provides Abdullah and other patients in Hamad Hospital a daily bus to go get their treatment.
A small gesture like provide transport can be so transformative for patients providing them with mobility and predictability. Our 9 buses that we provide daily for 7-8 hours per day cost us $3,500 for the day. This wouldn’t be possible without your support.
Help us continue our buses initiative by donating now to the General Fund: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU

Providing water in Gaza feels like pouring water into a cup with holes. We provide water and the jerrycans are dirty and contaminated. We send a truck and it’s not enough for the amount of people. We give water to families who have to walk kilometers to get back to their tents. Donate here: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Giving water in Gaza never feels enough and even though we do 430,000 liters of fresh water per day, we want to do more. The reality is that we might have to decrease the amount of water we provide due to lack of funds.

Good morning.
I woke up today drenched in sweat. The temperature inside our tent is unbearable, and at times I can barely breathe. Living in these conditions has become extremely difficult.
I kindly ask for your help in raising $1,000 to buy wood and basic materials to build a tent with proper ventilation—one that is actually possible to live in during this intense heat.
I am not asking for a house or anything luxurious. I am only asking for a simple tent that can provide some relief and allow us to live with a little dignity and safety.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to making this possible. Thank you for your kindness, support, and for standing with us during these difficult times.

At independence, Democratic Yemen inherited just 360 primary schools.
By 1977, it had nearly 1,000 schools, made education free, founded Aden University, and raised pupil enrollment by 312%.
The pursuit of socialism turned colonial neglect into people’s education.
One of the most difficult camps that we visited is the Amer Camp in Nuseirat where all types of aid are needed. The Sameer Project visits the camp regularly to provide help and most recently, our team went to provide diapers and milk. Support here: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
On June 10th, The Sameer Project gave out 45 small packs of diapers and 15 cans of formula. The cost for these items was $425 with 11% commission, but for this amount we were able to provide relief for so many mothers.
Thank you for your generosity, without it we wouldn’t be able to keep going. Please keep supporting our work through the General Fund: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
