You can’t mend what you’re not aware of.
You can’t repair what you don’t know is broken.
You don’t run away from trauma, you confront it.
You can’t heal what you’re not willing to expose.

Distance yourself from people who shout about your mistakes but always whisper your accomplishments. Especially when you clearly do more good than bad. There’s a reason they don’t have the same energy when they see you winning. It’s because they want to see you lose.
Praying for personal conviction for everyone yet to receive Christ because you think you have time to believe but you really don’t. Jesus is coming soon
Dear Young Pastors,
Please, guard your space and your heart.
Pastors are more open to emotional trauma because, as they interact with people more often, more people get a chance to hurt them.
I hope you know that, you can be single and still be emotionally unavailable.
Once you find yourself avoiding emotional connections with friends, family members and colleagues, you even avoid hanging out with them; that’s a sign of being emotionally unavailable.
One of the reasons why you need to overcome emotional pain and trauma, is because you don’t want the state of your heart to disturb the flow of Grace in your life.

Trauma is not just about the incident, it’s how you interpret the events that happened.
Never invalidate people’s feelings just because you had a different perspective to the event that happened.

Please heal before you enter into that relationship.
If you date as a damaged person, you will attract damaged people and you will become collateral damage.

One of the dangers of dating without healing is you will see damage and call it beautiful, you will experience abuse and call it tough love.

We need to stop saying to our boys and men, “Big boys don’t cry”, “You’re a man, be strong”.
These words traumatize our men, and make them emotionally unavailable.
