@LeftyWinter Ok, Steyer needed about 8.5% to beat Hilton at 60%, 13.3% now. This needed margin will almost certainly continue to exponentially grow to 100%.
@LeftyWinter I just don’t think the math is there. Now I haven’t really been following this at all, but I seem to recall that at ~60% in Steyer was down like 300-350K and now at 83% he’s down 215K. As it stands, he needs to win the remaining vote by 13.3% over Hilton, before it was ~10%.
@CanesCoveragee1 Game 4 is probably gone I think after this utter waste of a comeback. If we win then it's game on, but if I was on the team I would have blown my own head off in the locker room. Tragic, game 4 is a must win or it's over.
@Canes Aaaaaaaaaaaand the cup's gone. No way you win after a miraculous rally just to be crushed in the end anyways. Way to blow it. Onto 2027 probably.
@joshuawx_ Interesting inner city R-shift I must say. A sea of modest republican gains with large democratic gains in suburbs while the inner city has a modest republican gain like the rural areas. Sea of pink with blue donuts over cities. (I see savannah also has the central red island).
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r I’ll admit, probably not. I guess you could say i’m a coward or a pussy, to which i say is fair. I don’t have it in me to be a hero like that.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r When you are given the choice, you think “i have to help save half of humanity” which is very honorable and courageous. But, i view it as the signing off on an impending global catastrophe, as i just don’t see a world where blue wins in a real life or death scenario.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r Yes perhaps. But i am not willing to risk my life for a “chance.” If blue needed 40% i might choose blue. But 50% is just too hard of a sell for me.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r But since I am very sure that red would win in a real world scenario, i feel it is then perhaps not wise to hedge your life and possibly those who rely on you (perhaps family members who chose red while you chose blue) on something that is extremely uncertain to happen.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r Like i said, i believe the problem is inherently anti human. It is human nature to focus on yourself when it’s down to life or death. Yes children will choose blue, but unavoidable. Yes i do make assumptions, i admit, but i personally am very confident they are correct.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r I think red would have a 90% chance of winning. The 10% is a blue win. Blue would be the best outcome no doubt, but i find it hard to see a scenario where it wins, thus my main assumption is a global collapse.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r Therefore, i argue the main cause for the death of the billions are rather the beings giving humanity this choice in the first place. I believe it is human nature to pick red in the end, in the real deal. Therefore the choice itself is inherently anti-humanity.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r While i would feel some guilt and grief upon a blue loss, i feel the question in and of itself can be interpreted as a test of human behavior under life or death situations, and when it really comes down to it, people tend to think for themselves or their immediate family…
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r Of course. But again my view is, societal collapse is inevitable due to my prediction that people are much more sheepish about picking blue when the situation gets real. In my view, a massive societal collapse has a ~90% chance of occurring either way.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r It is then unreasonable to expect that blue wins with the whole global crowd. Therefore, voting red in my view is just one less death in the in my view virtually certain mass casualty event. If the blue percentage required was 40% instead i may flip. But 50% is too high for me.
@Wave_E_Gravy@Jeff_like_Feff@Reik3r Therefore the real outcome i believe may have red outperform polling by a very considerable margin, because people are scared in life or death situations, many may think of it as an every man for himself situation. And because most of the world isn’t as empathetic as the west…
