@KazzJenkins Per capita! Per capita! Per capita! We are not that rich per capita. Also, we seem to achieve very little with what the government spends.
@hackinginquiry@MrMatthewTodd Will this ‘independent regulator’ be stuffed with people like those running Cambridge, who helped a fraudster get a professorship, causing this whole drama in the first place?
@OliverDowden I love that people complaining about the green belt always stand in front of a lovely green field. In outer Bromley the ‘green belt’ is litter-strewn scrub land. Unattractive and under-utilised, yet less than an hour from the centre of London. Many such cases in the green belt.
@BenGrahamUK I saw something about a new reservoir taking 14 years to complete if we start now. I can’t fathom how it could possibly take so long, even if it wasn’t urgent, which it obviously is now. The whole system needs to change.
@sejhudson Why don’t these people move? I can only assume it’s because they’re in social housing so there’s less of a benefit moving out of central London, just more cost (commuting etc). The suburbs are perfect for this guy!
@paulswaddle@lukerobertblack@Tony_Diver@DominicPenna It is true! You’re being pedantic. You desperately want to limit new licenses, reduce drinking and prevent this vibrant part of London becoming what it really should be. The best nightlife district in the UK.
@VoteTimBarnes@CityWestminster In any sane country with sensible leaders, Soho would pedestrianised, 24hr fun. Instead we have people like you trying to throttle licensing, strangle growth and generally make everything worse. You’re a disgrace.
@w9maidavale The world part of this whole dialogue is that useless politicians will complain about someone solving their own problems, but god knows you won’t build one reservoir to make sure we don’t have this problem again!!!
