Ahead of UK gov plan on energy bills:
1/ it must be an actual freeze - £2500 wouldn’t be. Current price cap £2000 (& that’s up 54% since Spring);
2/freeze must apply to businesses;
3/ paying for it mustn’t fall wholly on taxpayers/consumers - windfall tax must be part of mix.
