Those that have been reading my content for some time know I do deep dives on war supply chains... Today, I want to cover supply chain that gives us Signals no headline will cover. This is one such scenario...

Over the past week flight trackers caught two aircraft routing through Sharurah Airport, the airport in southern Saudi Arabia on the Yemeni border that supplies the Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces...

One is a Ukrainian Air Force plane flying the Sharurah to Istanbul leg, reported in open source as a "Ukrainian military jet" leaving a Saudi airfield NEXT to the war.

They likely delivered cargo, interceptor drones or specialists because a state air force does not run that route for nothing...

The other is a Lockheed Hercules in from "Uganda", owned by Bar Aviation, a "Ugandan cargo line" whose owner, Barak Orland, is an Israeli national close to President Museveni, and whose firm has been named in reporting, @Haaretz included, over moving weapons, most recently into Sudan for the RSF.

This is a private, Israeli-owned, deniable carrier that already flies arms into African wars, and NOW working a Saudi base on the Yemen front...

Uganda itself is why the cutout works.

In 2023 President Museveni rolled out the red carpet for Iran's president and signed cooperation deals, and he has kept that relationship warm since.

At the same time he courts Saudi investment and sends his workers into the Kingdom by the tens of thousands, and he hosts an Israeli-owned airline at home.

Kampala is friendly with BOTH sides of this exact war, Iran that arms the Ansrallah Houthis and the Gulf that funds the government fighting them.

That is strategic realism doing what it does...

A Ugandan tail number points at no bloc, which is what makes it THE PERFECT flag to move things no one wants traced to them...

Neither Saudi Arabia nor Israel wants its own flag on a ground war in Yemen.

Saudi carries the scars of 2015, and Israel CANNOT be seen fighting on Arab soil at all.

So the inputs come through actors that leave no state fingerprint, a Ukrainian air force that needs Gulf money, and a neutral-flagged, Israeli-owned carrier out of a country that talks to everyone.

What Uganda itself sells is manpower.

It is one of the LARGEST exporters of private security labour on earth, more than ten thousand guarded American bases in Iraq and Afghanistan and tens of thousands more work security across the Gulf, cheap and deniable bodies that NEVER show on any state's casualty list and no caskets to manage at home...

Every principal gets the effect it wants at the FRONT, the drones, the arms, the manpower, while its own flag stays clean, so the official denials and the Arab street narrative both hold, bought with nothing more than a third country's flag on the tail.

A Ukrainian military jet and an Israeli-owned African arms carrier funnelling through one airstrip on the Saudi-Yemen border in the same week is NOT a coincidence, it is one supply line being stood up, built so no government has to admit it owns it so that we cannot trace how many people died in the war...
