Crying at the zoo under my sunglasses watching my son play without a care in the world because i know what it took for it to be that way. Little things make the big things make sense..

@Miss_Candis it’s completely ok for YOU not to feel disrespected. Contextually, i’ve said my piece and i wish black women nothing but success, love and prosperity.
i have no animosity or malice towards anyone and i wish the best to people with different views than my own.
i took this as disrespect fyi... The likes, the retweets, disrespect.
I’m not gonna disrespect no black women back tho. God filled my heart with love so i don’t care about this stuff.
I’m explaining it so u can understand my apathy towards anyone cool w/ this towards my family
@Miss_Candis if someone ever suggested your mother didn’t raise and educate you on social and cultural values, i would think that was disrespectful too.
@Miss_Candis Well i take any suggestion that my son isn’t being culturally educated by his mother as disrespectful towards the countless hours ive know her to commit to so.
People may not all see it that way, but i have the context to understand how my child is being raised
This is a fact . We shouldn’t care either way . We don’t need nobody speaking up or for us .
Shit is nasty . It’s up there with the invites to the cookouts
Our community shouldn’t have expectations for anybody whose not black to understand, sympathize, support or advocate for us. The very FEW genuine people outside of our community who do care, it’s appreciated. But they will still lack experience and true understanding
MLK got shot and so did Malcom. They lynched black men in suits and they shoot kids with their pants sagging. They beat slaves that said Yes Sir and they beat slaves that said Fuck You. There’s no respectability politics when they don’t respect you. No matter how you go about it.
@LILRXCKYY@Miss_Candis 🤝. when i said it people argued that i was advocating for letting him off to easy. Imo it’s better to send him to court with a higher probably of being convicted than to worry about the subjectivity of sentencing
