Dr. Frank makes a very important point.

According to Dr. Frank, the core of election fraud is not simply about machines “flipping” votes.
It is about using fake identities and compromised voter rolls to stuff large numbers of ballots.

What is needed is not simply a recount,
but a comparison against the voter rolls to determine whether every ballot counted actually came from a real voter.

The changes taking place in South Korea are not happening overnight. Much like Venezuela and Turkey, they are unfolding step by step as every lever of power is gradually taken over.

Most South Koreans do not want to give up their democracy and strongly support the U.S.–ROK alliance. But if the United States continues to remain silent despite seeing the warning signs in South Korea, the result will ultimately benefit China and North Korea and undermine America’s security architecture in the Indo-Pacific.

What is happening in South Korea and the United States is not a series of separate events, but a repetition of the same “color revolution playbook.”

The way President Yoon was obstructed by pro-North Korean and pro-Chinese forces is strikingly similar to the way President Trump’s key policies have repeatedly been blocked by the courts and Congress in the United States.
Even the obstruction coming from within the Republican Party and the PPP is strikingly similar.

China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), a Chinese state-owned energy company on U.S. national security blacklists, is operating a total of 2.72 GW of power generation capacity in South Korea, raising security concerns.

According to the U.S.-based East Asia Research Center, CGN operates a 557 MW LNG combined-cycle power plant at the Daesan Industrial Complex in South Chungcheong Province, as well as approximately 1,400 MW of combined-cycle and renewable generation capacity at the Yulchon Industrial Complex in Gwangyang, South Jeolla Province.

CGN is a state-owned enterprise overseen by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission under China’s State Council. In the United States, it was added to the Commerce Department’s export-control Entity List in 2019 over the illicit acquisition of nuclear technology and is also included on the Department of Defense’s list of Chinese military companies.

[서울대생이 광부 하고 싶던 시절 아냐? 배은망덕한 7080 세대들아!!]

1963년 겨울, 관악산 아래 서울대학교 문리대 정문을 나서는 철수의 손에는 잉크 냄새가 채 가시지 않은 졸업장이 들려 있었다.

집안의 자랑이자 일가친척의 기대를 한 몸에 받던 수재였지만, 1인당 국민소득이 100달러도 채 되지 않던 신생 독립국의 현실은 참혹했다.

대학을 나와도 들어갈 번듯한 기업이나 공장이 전무하던 시절, 상위 1%라는 학벌은 텅 빈 쌀독 앞에서는 종이쪽지에 불과했다.

청년 실업이 극에 달해 거리마다 굶주린 인텔리들이 넘쳐나던 그때, 정부가 서독으로 광부를 파견한다는 소식이 전해졌다.

당시 파독 광부의 월급은 약 600~800마르크, 당시 한화로 환산하면 4~5만 원 수준이었다.

이는 국내 대기업 신입사원이나 공무원 월급의 5배에서 10배에 달하는 거금이었다.

게다가 해외여행이나 유학이 철저히 통제되던 시대에 파독 광부는 합법적으로 여권을 발급받아 선진 유럽으로 나갈 수 있는 사실상 유일한 통로였다.

3년 계약을 마친 뒤 현지 대학에 진학해 유학을 하거나 유럽과 북미로 이민을 가겠다는 꿈을 품은 청년들이 벌떼처럼 몰려들었다.

서독 광부 모집은 처음부터 서민들만 가던 곳이 아니었다.

1963년 제1차 모집 때부터 광산 노동 경험이 전무한 대졸 엘리트들이 대거 몰려드는 기현상이 벌어졌다.

공식 선발 요건은 ‘광산 경력 1~2년 이상’이었지만, 실제 1963년부터 1966년 초기 파독 광부 중 대졸자 비율은 20~30%에 달했고, 고졸 이상까지 합치면 70%를 훌쩍 넘겼다.

경쟁률이 수십 대 일로 치솟자 광업소 직인을 위조하거나 허위 경력증명서를 사서 제출하는 일이 비일비재했다.

선발 시험장에서 모래가 든 무거운 가마니를 메고 달리는 체력 검정을 통과하기 위해 전직 운동선수, 교사, 예비역 장교, 대학생들이 흙바닥을 굴렀다.

철수의 집안 역시 예외가 아니었다. 철수의 아버지는 군청과 연줄이 닿는 인맥을 닥치는 대로 동원했고, 국회의원과 고위 관료를 향한 청탁과 뇌물이 공공연하게 오가는 틈바구니에서 가까스로 가짜 광산 경력증명서를 손에 쥐여주었다.

소위 ‘있는 집안’ 자제들이 유럽 진출과 유학 자금을 위해 연줄을 써서 합격자 명단을 가로채는 바람에, 정작 강원도 탄광에서 뼈 빠지게 일하던 진짜 광부들이 서류와 빽에서 밀려 탈락하는 비극까지 벌어졌다.

합격 통지서를 쥐고 눈물을 삼키며 비행기에 오른 철수의 손은 펜대만 굴려 티 없이 하얗기만 했다.

지구 반대편 독일 루르 탄광에 도착했을 때, 현지 독일인 감독관들은 경악을 금치 못했다.

막장에 투입된 한국인 광부들의 손에는 굳은살 하나 없었고, 휴식 시간이면 독일어와 영어 원서를 펼쳐 들고 토론을 벌였기 때문이다.

감독관들은 “한국은 대학교수들을 광부로 보냈느냐”며 혀를 내둘렀다.

그러나 현실은 냉혹한 지옥이었다.

지열이 섭씨 40도를 웃도는 지하 1,000미터 막장에서 속옷 한 장만 걸친 채 곡괭이를 휘둘렀다.

숨을 쉴 때마다 폐부 깊숙이 탄가루가 달라붙었고, 수시로 일어나는 낙반 사고로 동료들이 차가운 주검으로 실려 나갔다.

손톱이 깨지고 뼈마디가 으스러지는 생사의 갈림길에서 캐낸 마르크화는 매달 고국으로 송금되었다.

철수를 비롯한 수만 명의 청년들이 지하 막장과 병동에서 목숨과 맞바꾼 그 피 묻은 외화는 포항제철의 붉은 쇳물을 녹이고, 경부고속도로의 아스팔트를 까는 마중물이 되어 오늘날 ‘한강의 기적’이라는 국가 번영의 토대를 세웠다.

탈출구가 없던 시대, 목숨을 걸고 지하 막장으로 뛰어들어야 했던 고학력 청년들의 피눈물 위에 오늘날의 대한민국이 세워졌다.

그러나 그 거대한 희생의 토대 위에서 자라난 후대 세대는 그 시절의 무게를 까맣게 잊었다.

선대들이 뼈를 갈아 넣어 닦아놓은 번영의 아스팔트 위에서 최루탄 연기를 핑계 삼아 시위를 벌이고, 아버지가 허리띠를 졸라매 번 돈으로 서양 유학을 다녀와서는 좌파 이념과 낡은 사상으로 무장해 지식인 행세를 하며 다음 세대를 선동했다.

화려한 무대와 축제를 벌이며 도덕적 우월감에 취해 권력을 누려온 이들이 정작 선대의 처절했던 생존투쟁과 헌신에는 눈을 감았다.

지하 1,000미터 암흑 속에서 조국의 내일을 위해 곡괭이를 내리치던 청년들의 희생을 외면한 채, 풍요 속에서 이념 놀음과 기득권 챙기기에 급급했던 이들에게 역사는 묻고 있다.

당신들이 오늘날 누리고 있는 그 모든 풍요와 안락이 누구의 꺾인 뼈마디와 피눈물 위에서 피어난 것인지 단 한 번이라도 부끄러워해 본 적이 있느냐고 말이다.
