The Intercept was kind enough to publish and visualize key data findings from my new book on media bias and Gaza. Here are some examples
- Emotive words in print/
- cable news
- Antisemitism vs Islamophobia mentions
- Coverage of Claudine Gay “scandal” v the Hind Rajab killing
If you have read (or especially written) one of the many “where are the student protests?” thinkpieces, you need to watch this. University administrators, backed by the military industrial complex, are cracking down on campus speech — but students at Cornell are fighting back.
What makes this statement so hollow is that AOC does not seem to have an issue coalescing with white nationalists—e.g. Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz—on other issues (China). The inconsistency is revealing and so is her deliberate choice to treat her base as if they are clueless children. But to win them over she must be explicit in her anti-Zionism, instead of catering to a non-existent voter. A good first step would be to apologize for carrying water for the genocidal Biden administration.
Forgive me for being cynical but I just watched 10yrs of “realignment” media guys promise me there was an authentic antiwar movement in MAGA then Trump got in office, starved Gaza and Cuba, kidnapped Maduro, continued the genocide, attacked Iran and increased the DOD budget 50%
Kristof deserves no credit for this; this is how he and the NYT continue their clean up job of manufacturing the case for genocide. Not only did he spend much of the past two years spreading pro-genocide propaganda - even urging us to consider why the Israelis would want to kill everyone - but he even slips in here the still unproven Israeli claim that women were raped on Oct 7.
Imagine sharing a piece in which you share actual testimonies from Palestinians about the sexual violence they’ve experienced at the hands of their occupiers, their genocidaires, and you still propagate a pro-genocide claim without any evidence.
"My reporting for this article is based on conversations with 14 men and women who said they had been sexually assaulted by Israeli settlers or members of the security forces. I also spoke to family members, investigators, officials and others."
And yet this had to run in Opinion to make the pages of the NYT. @nytimes news editors are seemingly collaborating in the conspiracy of silence around the sexual abuse of Palestinians.

@BrandyLJensen Love to build a politics where vulnerable group’s baseline humanity and dignity are under constant threat by their own party in the event said humanity and dignity dip below 50% approval in a gallop poll. This inspires enthusiasm, solidarity and coherent narrative building
These students at Towson University in Maryland who confronted an Israeli soldier speaking at their school are heroes:
“You’re a terrorist, bro. Get off my campus!”
“We’re not paying $30,000 a year in tuition to have a terrorist here.”
⭕️ The Hondurasgate investigative portal reported nearly 40,000 attack attempts in a single day, with geolocation data showing the attacks originated primarily from the United States and Israel, according to the outlet.
The timing is notable. Hondurasgate has been at the center of a major regional scandal after publishing leaked audio recordings in late April implicating former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández — pardoned by Trump in December 2025 despite a 45-year narcotrafficking conviction — in a U.S. and Israeli-backed disinformation operation targeting the progressive leftist governments of Mexico and Colombia. Argentine President Javier Milei is also implicated in the recordings.
The idea is to find a group of people most people regard as terrible examples, use them to make revoking passports a more acceptable form of punishment, then expand it from there.
1) ICE's killings of Renée Good & Alex Pretti roiled the US. Less known is the agency's first public death, Ruben Martinez. His best friend, the only witness to dispute ICE's account, later died. How ICE’s killing of an American shattered two families & changed their politics.
Media strivers: never pass up a chance to smear the Palestine solidarity movement. Here @MollyOlmstead just completely makes up an anti Israel element to the attack when the shooter, in fact, reposted tweets mocking and belittling Gaza protestors
NEW: An @ij review of media reports has identified at least 14 recent cases of police officers allegedly using Flock and other automated license plate reader systems to stalk wives, girlfriends, exes, and even strangers who caught their eye in public.
💢 REPORT | Sexual violence by Israeli settlers and soldiers is deliberately driving Palestinians from their West Bank homes, new report finds
More than 70% of displaced Palestinian households in the occupied West Bank identified threats to women and children — particularly sexualised violence — as the decisive reason for leaving their communities, according to a report by the West Bank Protection Consortium, led by the Norwegian Refugee Council.
The report documents how conflict-related sexual violence has become a systematic tool of forced displacement in Area C, operating within a broader coercive environment of settler attacks, movement restrictions, and persistent impunity.
Based on 83 in-depth interviews and 12 focus group discussions across 10 Palestinian communities, it found at least 16 documented cases of sexual violence attributed to Israeli settlers and soldiers — a figure researchers say is significantly higher in reality, as survivors rarely disclose incidents due to stigma, fear of retaliation, and the threat of further targeting by Israeli forces.
Among the documented abuses:
▪️ Settlers attempting to sexually assault a blindfolded man with a broomstick in Wadi al-Seeq, with perpetrators circulating images of the abuse
▪️ A woman subjected to a full-body naked inspection by female Israeli soldiers, with derogatory comments and touching of intimate areas
▪️ Settlers walking naked between Bedouin shelters before a community fled overnight
▪️ Rape threats made while settlers stalked women walking to latrines
▪️ Drones hovering outside bedroom windows and cameras directed at beds
Key findings on the consequences of displacement:
▪️ 84% of households experienced settler violence alongside systemic coercive pressures
▪️ 87% of women who experienced forcible transfer lost all sources of income
▪️ 90% of women reported increased psychological stress and trauma
▪️ 40% of affected children lost access to education
▪️ 92% of displaced households lost access to grazing and agricultural land
Since January 2023, more than 5,600 Palestinians including 2,600 children have been displaced across 107 communities. In the first three months of 2026 alone, 1,697 Palestinians were displaced — already surpassing all of 2025. Settler attacks last year reached their highest recorded level since OCHA began monitoring in 2006.
I just conducted an unprompted, late night oversight visit at an ICE holding facility at the Mesa Gateway Airport with @RepGregStanton and @Rep_Grijalva. What we saw was shocking and sick.
Well over 240 detainees stacked like sardines in cells. People were sick and ICE was refusing medical care.
Here’s what happened.
@BulwarkOnline@Lauren_V_Egan The schools suspended or expelled all those students, you twits - and then passed rules that make protest impossible. Thanks to people like you. Nice job.
