@tracewoodgrains If it were me I would say it is broadly "Christian" in that it accepts Christ as Messiah, but not "nicene Christian," which is a major obstacle to ever being in communion with the Catholic, Orthodox, or major Protestant branches of Christianity

@tracewoodgrains I think one of the reasons for the argument is definitional. A lot of people who ask this question define Christian as "Nicene Christian," i.e. affirming of the conventional Trinitarian view of God. Mormonism doesn't do that
