My game has always had this “magical circleexpansion” effect. The feedback was that it looked cool, but could also be confusing.
I’ve made it more practical now: each level is divided into smaller regions. Once a region is close to being fully cleaned, the circle expands and wipes out the remaining leaves inside.
Quite similar to PowerWash Simulator’s auto-complete design. Hopefully a nice QoL improvement!😏 #indiegame #cozygames
@JDM719 Thanks! Yeah, that's also what I liked about B... Meanwhile, the benefit of A is that it's easier to see the uncleaned leaves. I do have a "leaf radar" feature, but I guess it could be annoying if you have to keep pressing it... https://t.co/6keOQElNI4
