In grade school, I used to have terrible stomach aches before reading class bc I was terrified of my teacher. They thought I was making it up to get out of class. I now realize that was anxiety🙃

Just a heads up: if your kid starts complaining of stomach aches at school and the food isn’t totally different, it’s not the food. It’s feelings. They’re having feelings, in their body. Don’t make it worse by accusing them of lying. Be curious about their FEELINGS.
