As a committed student of DAV I opted Sanskrit instead of English after 10th class.
My teacher -a trained Sanskrit Brahmin categorically told us that Sanskrit shouldn't be seen through the prism of any religion. The result was obvious: I got distinction in Sanskrit in 12th class!
