@theMMAhomies Tough spot for Herzog, arguably the fence grab was the only reason he could get up. When could you take the point? While Lewis is still unloading? What happens if Teixeira catches him? Tough call for a ref, just hope it gets talked about and there is consistency moving forward.
@WillHarrisAOAF Gotta go Ilia. McGregor's ascent was fun, but he never put 3 together in a row like Ilia just did. Dude is on an all time run. Plus the rose in the cage is 🥶
@lthomasnews Since moving up to LW Hooper has been able to apply a level of violence to a modern BJJ base that we haven't really seen before. Would love to see you break his game down in the lead up to this fight.
@WillHarrisAOAF 2 Division World Champ vs a hell of a prospect, but a prospect nonetheless. A lot of people don't realize how big an upset it would have been if Nickal won.
@LudisCharta@UFCLockski When I saw the opening line, was ready to play Jenkins. Watching Santos's fights, made me lose my confidence in that play.
There's definitely value, but my conservative strategy made me stay away. Hoping Jenkins cashes for you!
@LudisCharta Line moved in Nolan's direction (+118 -> +102). Hasn't attempted a TD in the UFC & has been tagged clean in every fight. I need to go back & rewatch the Reyes fight, but seems like a standup fight heavily favors Slava Claus, not just 56% of the time (per the -130 odds for Slava)
@LudisCharta Interesting. DDP definitely leaves himself open to the counter, but seems like Strickland prefers to defend and move to counter the blitz instead of setting his feet to fire back with some power.
@MBalsley Learning experience for me on this one too. Numbers were saying go Ziam, but I remembered being really excited about Davis after the Levy win & let that keep me from making the play. Gonna need to start asking people why they're voting the way they are.
@bobbyD72101722@LudisCharta I tend to bet pretty conservatively, so I stay away from longshots. That being said +1200 for a guy that has 2 subs in the UFC seems pretty good. Keep in mind both of those were kimuras. Bellato has some thick arms & has looked competent on the ground.
@LudisCharta Fight doesn't start 3rd currently sitting around -135.
Crute's seen a 3rd in 22% of UFC fights (Menifield & Craig). Bellato seen 1 in 14 pro fights. Only 50% of LHW UFC fights start a 3rd. Odds saying 56% chance this one does.
@LudisCharta Probably favoring Salkilld here, but he's making his debut & was getting touched up a bit on DWCS. This line seems a little off. Jubli has a KO in the UFC & was looking good until he broke in round 3 of the Breeden fight. Think he's damaged goods after that one?
@typoinmyphoto@LudisCharta Prado moving up in weight, Matthews has almost 7x the UFC experience. Always hard for me to pick against the massive experience advantage.
