Ok. I finally finished Remake last night. Visually? Very nice.
However, these games aren't for me. After the longest bike escape in history, all the fanfic starts with RedXIII seeing a vision of the og FF7 ending and saying "It's a glimpse of our future should we fail." So they're literally saying that the original ending is the bad ending. And now we have alternate dimension shenanigans that would make Marvel blush and we beat the giant whisper because fuck canon story that everyone knows and loves. I really would've liked a real remake. The og story with snazzy graphics, old turn based battle system polished up. The creepy and suspenseful tones. I don't know if I'll play Rebirth. I don't think there's much point to me playing a game I won't like....they could've made this so freaking awesome but they fumbled it. 😟

@Sebbywebz For reference, FF7, FF9 and FF12 (yes, the 12 you criticize so much 😂) are my favorite FF games of all time. Over 1000 hours on those 3 games combined, so I was extremely hyped for FF13. I still plan to finish the trilogy one day. The soundtrack at least seems good.
