@headofwoodlands Me too! Isolation finishes today! Why do we work so hard all year to get ill the minute we break up! Christmas Day in isolation with my 9 year old .. no taste no energy.. but he described the taste of his Christmas dinner beautifully to me 😂
@TeacherStarr @PaulGarvey4 As a single parent couldn’t do it without my mum! Then it is as you say ... a balance! Even on my busiest days have always made sure the bedtime story is mine! I just have to be organised! Not sure I’ll ever feel like I’ve mastered it though.
@ChrisYoules I’ve given my staff the choice. They rang their class from home during the lockdown period (withholding their number of course) . Interesting the more experienced teachers are going to ring from home and the RQTs are staying in school where SLT will be on hand if needed!
@secretHT1 We have created year group learning packs if it’s just individuals rather than the whole class - these contain learning pertinent to the year group and will hopefully save any running around at the last minute!
@secretHT1 It’s amazing how it differs! But then again o always wonder why I can get an assembly hall full of children to listen but my own child ... 🤦♀️
@hgeorgyy I think this is normal and especially so this year ... I find the same, it takes an active effort to ‘switch off’ do think I actually ever do 🤷♀️
