Yesterday, @LPI_voices' Ethiopia Programme successfully concluded a three-day training on Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) programming in collaboration with @UNEthiopia and the Ethiopia Peacebuilding Network.
Building on #UNSC 2250, @UNEthiopia joined Ethiopia Peace Building Network (EPBN) & @LPI_voices in empowering youths, CSOs, & gov't to harness youth potential in advancing peace & positive change. 31 participants are in the 3-day training on Youth, Peace & Security Programming.

The Ethiopian Institute of Peace (EIP), in partnership with LPI and partner universities, has successfully conducted training workshops at Mekelle and Hawassa universities.

In collaboration with multiple #UN Agencies, our local partners, the government, & youth groups, the @LPI_voices' #Ethiopia Programme successfully commemorated the 2024 Int'l Day of Peace, with the theme "Cultivating a Culture of Peace."
We spent an informative, inspiring, and fun one week with more than 40 young African leaders at z beautiful Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 🇹🇿.

@NCA_RPP Unemployment is depriving youth their hopes, growth potentials and their contributions to economic and social development of states. This also links to high rate of youth involvement in violent conflict.
