🔸What a beautiful surprise.😅
It is a huge honour to be voted “Zimbabwean of the Year” by the people. I treasure the gift of being able to speak with and for those who aspire for a Zimbabwe that works, that is globally competitive and has freedom, fairness and opportunity for all. This is the only Zimbabwe we have so we must join hands to build it, champion excellence and demand competent, ethical leadership that drives our great nation forward.
Congratulations to all fellow nominees. Let us work hard to ensure the Zimbabwean Dream becomes a reality for everyone.
Thank you to @iMisred and @ZiFMStereo for affording the people this platform.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
When women can decide if and when to have children, they are healthier, their families are more prosperous, and their children get a better start in life. Everyone benefits, and the positive effects ripple for generations. The U.S. decision to end support for family planning programs around the world will cost lives and claim futures that should have been bright. https://t.co/Oh4iWSTYcV

Today is Question Time in @ParliamentZim. I've sent notice for a number of questions to @MoHCCZim, @ZimTreasury @ Home Affairs. I believe that now is the time to quantify the amounts collected from auctions of goods confiscated from informal traders and account for it.
Through the WYLP project, this week we're conducting #leadership training for Gwanda Rural District Council and Gwanda Municipality’s first-time councilors.
Today's focus: Dynamic feedback and group sessions to sharpen their skills.

I have accepted an invitation to jointly address the World Teen Parliament this afternoon. I wish to utilize this opportunity to reflect on the actions I would have taken if my teenage years had coincided with the technological advancements we enjoy today.

Day 3. CSO Capacity Building Training Workshop proudly sponsored by @hivosrosa and @WCOZIMBABWE. Learning and capacitation continues. The current global funding shift requires organisations to adapt and continue serving communities. Collaboration is key to move ahead.
Our participation in the CSO Capacity Strengthening Training convened and supported by @WCOZIMBABWE and @hivosrosa@HivosWiL rejuvenated our mission to enhance women and youth leadership and participation in civic spaces in Zimbabwe.
Training continues today, in partnership with @WCOZIMBABWE, as we dive into Financial Management, Proposal Writing and Fundraising techniques for CSOs and CBOs under our WYLP project.
We aim to improve structures and procedures, with support from @euinzim & @IrlEmbPretoria
