Novice trader. Market structure is primary but rely on moving averages and fib levels for confluence.
I use this as a journal for accountability and learning.
$ADBE Price grinding against 200D ema and printing bearish divergences on LTF. Trying a small short with SL above yesterday's high. Time to get wrecked on the opposite direction now.
This is Bitcoin though, it could just consolidate and push higher too. I'll be watching for 71,5k acting as support for that possibility. It's too early to tell at this point.
I think $BTC forms its high somewhere between here and 77k, likely on the lower half of the range. Then we go back down to hopefully form a higher low. My points of interest will be 67k, 65.4k, and 62.4k being the absolute bottom we should hold if it even comes down to that.
What do you do on a daily close like this? Price reversed from the lows, got above major moving averages, but printed a bearish spinning top with huge volume. What do you watch for next? Do you watch for this breakdown underside retest?
I think how silver behaves when it gets to around $71/oz will be extremely important. It's previous support that turned into resistance, 200D sma and 0.236 retracement level from the top. I went long around 58 with warrants. I'll decide whether to roll them forward or TP then.
AI didn't instantly nuke on open today. MRVL is moving like I thought earlier. Although yesterday's price action scared me, it will probably fly when the musical chairs rotation is back to AI.
Market humbled me this week. I've been having an amazing run with most calls hitting past couple of months. I got full of myself and started sizing aggressively. Hedging, nimbleness, diversification were gone. Gave back a lot of gains. Will get my edge back before diving back in.
@optionstraps Ok, I'm out of CBRS. I've been long RKLB for a while too. I'll probably look to pick more of that up. I'll also look into signal bars. Thanks for the alpha.
@optionstraps Why do you think so for CBRS? I'm hitting my head for not selling at the pump to 250. I was considering getting out since it's at my entry rn. What makes you see significantly more downside?
$IREN $QCOM are up on the day during a sector-wide selloff. $QCOM hasn't really moved too much away from the July lows either. Could there be an opportunity here?
