@DonzokoBeer Day 5 - love to get a new brewery in the calendar and @yikesbrewco do not disappoint! Loved the original granton ipa and this iteration is one of the standout neipas in the country in my book. Lovely neon orange and a stylistic firm bitterness to keep it a tad old school.

Two weeks ago, it was very green, but also a peach bomb. Last week, it was green, peach and pineapple. Today, it’s tropical and orange. Tasting it as it matured, while peach aromas and flavours dropped in intensity, we realised, we’d really like to make a peachy NEIPA.

Last week, we released a New England IPA, which is part of a series of Granton IPAs where each new IPA evolves the recipe from the last one.

The plan with the third IPA (New Granton IPA) was to follow the style guidelines for a New England IPA, because we didn’t do that before.

and co-pitched New England yeasts. We wanted body, some sweetness, light molasses like flavours, fruity esters, and creamy vanilla from the base.

So, there it is. We planed never to brew the same beer twice, but we’ve decided we’ll definitely refine this beer at some point. Why?
