@GadeerOnodera I think this story is based on the Ming dynasty prose I mentioned in the footnote, so WY seems to have passed away and LZ has been bringing loquats to his grave to mourn, and now he has decided to join WY in the afterlife. But it’s meant to be vague, that’s just my interpretation
