@TeamYouTube 6/ Because support has been unable to provide that answer, I have now requested the personal data and moderation records relating to my termination under my data-protection rights.
I shouldn’t need to do this just to find out what content YouTube says I violated the rules with.
YouTube terminated my entire ASMR channel for “sexual content.”
0 warnings.
0 strikes.
No adult-content links.
After TWO reviews, YouTube still refuses to tell me which video actually violated the policy.
@TeamYouTube how am I supposed to understand a violation I don't know?
@TeamYouTube 5/ I’m not asking @TeamYouTube for special treatment.
Deleting an entire channel with no previous warnings or strikes, then refusing to identify even ONE offending piece of content, gives creators no meaningful way to understand what they supposedly did wrong.
@TeamYouTube 4/ Support refused to identify a video, saying that providing information could reveal details about YouTube’s internal security systems.
So I asked a simple question:
Was the decision upholding my termination reviewed by a human?
I did not receive an answer to that either.
@TeamYouTube 3/ So I asked YouTube directly:
Which video?
Which audio?
Which title?
Which thumbnail?
Which description?
Which external link?
Which timestamp?
I wasn’t asking how YouTube detects violations.
I was asking what content on MY CHANNEL they determined violated the policy.
@TeamYouTube 2/ I appealed.
Denied.
I contacted Creator Support and the case received a further review.
Denied.
The response simply repeated that “explicit content that’s meant to be sexually gratifying” isn’t allowed.
STILL didn’t tell me what content supposedly violated that rule.
@TeamYouTube 1/ My channel, Yina ASMR, had around 10 SFW ASMR roleplay videos, 9 of which were monetized.
Before the termination, I had received zero Community Guidelines warnings or strikes.
Then the entire channel was suddenly terminated under YouTube’s Nudity & Sexual Content Policy.
@TeamYouTube my Youtube channel https://t.co/RKn1KZZSnf got wrongly terminated for sexual content. I had no warnings or strikes, all 10 uploads were SFW ASMR, I had no links to adult content on my profile. My appeal was denied within hours. Please can you help?
@YouTubeCreators Hi youtube! Seems like theres been a huge mistake because my channel was deleted and I haven't violated any of your policies! Especially not nudity and sexual content! And none of my links in my profile contain sexual content or NSFW! Time to fix it please.
