ETH Beijing Hackathon 2026
ETH Beijing 2027,我们明年再会!🚀
Starting June 10, ETH will become the default payment method for all newly approved grants. 🦄
This brings our grant-making closer to the Ethereum ecosystem we support.
This change applies to new applications submitted on or after June 10.
The EF App Relations team is opening an RFP for a Neutral DeFi Risk Intelligence Aggregator.
An open source web app that pulls every major DeFi risk feed into one view. No composite scoring, no synthesis. Just what each provider reports, side by side.
Our first funding round was a massive success!
Congratulations to all the Ethereum security projects collecting about $1.6M in total and to Giveth for organizing a fantastic QF Round.
What started as a 500 ETH matching pool ultimately grew to 637 ETH+ thanks to ecosystem contributions.
Shout out to @wintermute_t for adding $200K to the matching pool and to @Quantstamp whose early $50K donation helped kick off momentum for direct matching pool contributions across the round.
We also saw over $300k+ in direct donations to 134 projects!
Our hope is that one day using Ethereum will be safer than using banks. To get to that day we believe it will require a community effort. This round validates that approach.
🛡️ The results for the @thedaofund’s Ethereum Security QF Round are LIVE!
This historic round is closing with a HUGE last minute contribution:
@wintermute_t has added $200K to the matching pool 🔥
Wintermute is a well known liquidity provider, and one of the leading supporters of Ethereum security, in fact exactly a year ago today they donated $1M to @_SEAL_Org.
This year they teamed up with TheDAO, @Quantstamp & several other community partners to allocate over $1.6M worth of funding to Ethereum Security Public Goods 👇
If you’re building in Ethereum security, this is for you.
Applications are open for Ethereum Security QF, the first funding round backed by @thedaofund.

This Canton guy has "co-author of Zcash's zkSNARK" in his bio, which is basically a total lie? He apparently contributed some code to libsnark circa 2014, mainly the gadgetlib2 portion of it that we never used in Zcash. He's not a co-author of any papers we use.
it’s concerning the EF leadership requires people to publicly endorse the mandate (if true).
I don’t think that even inline with what that mandate stands for.
