@FnMoneymaker The thing actually lowers these days is optimising ur networks congestion or js getting fibre optic or gaming tailored wifi like superloop. Do bufferbloat test on chrome to see whats congested in ur network and enabl sqm or qos in ur modem settings. Went from 20 ping to 4

@Fnajen_ They could do this or they could remove streamed assets and make it an option again for pc players and everyone’s ping will be playable. 15-20 ping players will be on 0-5, 30-40 with be 15-20 and so on.

@eyerant_ @FortniteStatus The performance mode you see is both of them, when u select performance mode Fortnite’s system automatically scans your pc specs and decides which to use. If u still got bad fps try just putting this launch command inside epic launcher for Fortnite. -d3d11

@g7nfv @hetfv12 @FortniteStatus Fr me too😭 I started re doing all my tweaks all for this just to be another great display of Fortnite’s degrading optimisation, the only thing that worked for me is turning off reflex low latency and off in control panel, apparently unless gpu is at 90%+ it shouldn’t be on

@eyerant_ @FortniteStatus Honestly it depends on specs, you specifally with a killer cpu want the gpu to be at 100%, that means ur cpu is feeding the gpu as much as it can handle, its not gonna be better vise versa, but they didn’t remove the deprec mode they made it so they auto select ut based kn specs

@moxzfn6 I would suggest swapping to eor off, ur crosshair placement is perfect so once u get used to confirming edits your mechs will be near the same after a week, I made the switch and my mechanics are much smoother and better as you have more control and it rewards good crosshair

@eyerant_ @FortniteStatus Ur probably on dx11 performance if u got a good gpu as Fortnite decides between 11 and 12, and 11 is more gpu biased but I know you can change it in the launch commands for dx11 it’s -d3d11, idk off the top what dx12 cmd is but u should be able to find it

@Jareytkosmo12 @FortniteStatus Ye well predownloaded assets being perma off cause the extra ping, the ping in your settings is what your ping should be if wre the images already stored on your pc but for some reason they decided to make it so everyone’s game is constantly back and forth between epic servers
