we could create social apps with expiration dates. to be consumed and enjoyed for the moment but still housed within a single product

The internet is getting more filled with slop/hate/AI-generated fakery, and young people are turning more to religion/no social media/tech-free lives.

The internet is, in effect, killing itself in its pursuit of more eyeballs. Enshittification at a global scale.
