Thank you to everyone who supported me and this project over the last 9 years. So deeply grateful. To my mum, and her friends, and the children who loved her - you are not forgotten 🩵
Student encampments have had a global impact - uniting students, highlighting the impact of activism, and turning truth to power in institutions whose practices are at odds with ethics they espouse. I am so proud of these students and was very happy to participate in this.
An excellent joint statement put out this morning by 10 Palestine solidarity encampments at unis around Australia. Worth taking the time to read what the students themselves are saying about their protest, rather than the crap in the MSM.

Weaponising anti-Semitism in the service of uncritical support for #Israel in Gaza (and beyond), and damning those who legitimately challenge Israeli actions, both defames Judaism and weakens the necessary fight against real anti-Semitism aka hatred of Jews for being Jews.
@Kat_Daley Oh Kat! I cried when I read this and felt all the feels. Shared this with my brother who is a paramedic, and he was grateful for the reminder of the experience of families for the big things that are “just in a day’s work” x
How could one be a scholar and silent about the genocide in Gaza right now? “The IOF’s calculated killings of knowledge producers and destruction of spaces of teaching and learning… attacking their education and their dreams, hopes, and ambitions” https://t.co/EndLhuqngs
grateful to @OverlandJournal & @gtiso for giving me the space, & their editing wisdom, to share these thoughts that have been churning around in my brain about the histories and politics and responsibilities and uses of emotions in these times

Hello! I'm keen to hear about victim-survivors' experiences and perceptions of police interviews in sexual offence cases in Australia.
Please share and feel free to get in touch if you're interested in being interviewed for the project.
