Equipping & resourcing 15-30's to fulfil their God-given calling as leaders in culture and in the church. Part of the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham.
There’ll be a vigil at 5pm today at St Peter’s Church, Nottingham (next to M&S) - an opportunity for quiet reflection, for prayer, to light candles, and draw together as a wider community, following this morning’s tragic events in the city.
After 6 months of hard work, I'm delighted that the new website for the Centre for Cultural Witness launches today - https://t.co/xabyEcwfVK - Christian perspectives on just about everything. Hope you enjoy it. @seenandunseenmag
1. Your mistakes are not too deep for God’s grace.
2. God’s goodness towards you is not connected to your goodness.
3. Jesus is not ashamed to join his life to messed up sinners.
4. Out of a great mess, came the great Messiah.
(From today’s sermon on Jesus’s genealogy)
Update from @YLCDioSN with brilliant opportunities for 18-30s @diocswellnott to get involved with The Apprentice Track and The Leadership Track right now.
(If you are interested in the internship programme our next intake will be Sept 2023)
I am not what I ought to be.
I am not what I wish to be.
I am not what I one day will be.
But, by the grace of God, I am not what I once was.
– John Newton
@PeteGreig One of the most powerful moments @Wildfiresfest - ( and there were many ) @tylercstaton lab on confession ‘a mature church is not a church without sin but a church without secrets’
Such a great encouragement to spend this morning with those who have been part of the @SouthwMinster one-year Apprentice Track and to commission each one as they prepare for new adventures ahead
In this episode of the “Dare to Lead” podcast, I’m talking with @iamjamesrhee about the transformative power of kindness at work. It blew my mind and reassured my heart. #redhelicopter https://t.co/bzM2KM16lh
