When Toadsworth sees a Shine Sprite in Super Mario Sunshine, he compares it to a Power Star.
It appears that, much like Power Moons, Shine Sprites are Power Stars in a different shape. Both are floating objects and guardians that produce light and are used as sources of power.
The Shellcreepers seen in the Mario Bros. arcade game appear to actually be Koopa Troopas. Long ago, Koopa Troopas walked around on four legs, without shoes. Now, most Koopa Troopas are able to stand up wearing shoes, though some are still seen walking on four legs.
Fact: Plantaen is a banana-shaped planet and the home of banana-like people that appear to venerate the Crystal Bananas, objects of great power. While Xananab is visiting Sun Sun Island in DK: Jungle Climber, King K. Rool steals the Crystal Bananas from him.

Fact: Fish Bones and Jean de Fillets are the skeletal remains of Cheep Cheeps, with Jean de Fillets being called "Bone Cheep Cheeps" in Japanese.
Honebon are bone fish formed from the collective spirits of dead Cheep Cheeps.
Fact: Mario likes to put his hat through the washing machine, while Luigi prefers to wash his hat by hand, considering Mario’s preference to be careless.
Despite this, Luigi hangs up Mario’s laundry, including his hat, to dry in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.
Fact: Chuckola Cola is a beverage brewed using Chuckola Fruit from Chucklehuck Woods in the Beanbean Kingdom.
It was created by Bubbles in Chateau de Chucklehuck over 1000 years ago before he retreated to a sanctuary behind the woods to brew the legendary Chuckola Reserve.
Fact: After his defeat at the end of Super Mario Galaxy, one of the stars orbiting Bowser’s “great king star”, the centrepiece of his galactic empire, implodes.
This results in a large black hole that consumes the universe. Collectively, the stars use their power to recreate it.
In Donkey Konga 2, locations connect to each other through shared landmarks, such as the Port City being visible at the foot of the Snowy Mountain.
This makes it possible to chart where the game’s areas are in relation to each other.

1st cover only had Donald. They later added in the Beagle Boys but I don’t recall drawing them. I forgot about this one, so who knows?
