"God's Own Drunk", Jimmy Buffett, found his Lost "Shaker of Salt" - Margaritaville welcomed this legend, on September 1.
Jimmy is not "Nobody From Nowhere". "He went to Paris", along the way. But, he knew where the ultimate "Cheeseburger in Paradise" was. He's ordering one now.
You know he is feeling the "Bama Breeze". He stopped in the bathroom and saw Mick Jaggers's signature in the ladies' bathroom stall!
Jimmy was going to try "Navy Life" but, decided to "Take Another Road", which I believe led to "Floridays", all the while "Havana Dreamin'".
He went with "The Captain and the Kid" and found it to be a "Peanut Butter Conspiracy" which "Survive Jimmy Buffett" indeed did.
His music and humour will live on forever in our hearts. Raise a glass to, "Changes in Latitudes", we are all "wasting away in a grass skirt and coconut bra"! You got there just before, "Livingston Saturday Night". When he arrived, he announced, "My head hurts, my feet stink and I don't love Jesus". We all know, they took him anyway.
"Come Monday", we will all be singing his songs.
Thank you Jimmy for a lifetime of fun and music. Hope you don't mind that I "Parrott" my thoughts.
