@Madmax74Max@rydunleavy I am as big a giants fan as there is but they have been a dumpster fire the last 15 years with their season being over by October every season. Just because they now have a real coach doesn't mean they will be good. I'll sign up for meaningful November football.
@Joelsherman1 I enjoy your work. One bone to pick. No reason to assume Rumfield would be putting up anywhere near his numbers on the Yanks. McMahon was a league avg hitter on the Rockies and is one of the worst hitters in mlb. Rumfields 829 Ops would be a lot worse on the Yanks
@traffikhan@NYSportsFanCush Baseball savant has walls at 22% fielding and 1% hitting values lol Witt is 99% fielding value. Admittedly I don't watch the Rays much unless they are playing the Yankees
@enosarris Appreciate the response. don't you think there may be an overemphasis on defense at certain positions? I would think it's much easier to find a Taylor walls replacement than one for Schwarber
@enosarris don't you think WAR needs to be tweaked? How can T. Walls have the same WAR as Schwarber? How can Ryan Howard have 1.8 WAR in 2008 when he was 2nd in MVP Imagine the discourse if that happened in 2026! It seems obvious that WAR needs tweaking. Is it being worked on?
@john_jastremski My opinion is that managers matter much less than what people think. 98% of the decisions are clear and obvious. Everyone decided Cora is great because he won a world series his first year. I am totally fine with Boone being gone but it's the roster not him that is to blame.
@dotave@Buster_ESPN But I agree it was an amazing game. Just the over the top reaction of "best game ever, or most comebacks ever" is where you lose me
@dotave@Buster_ESPN You are missing the point. The amount of times the red Sox came back is skewed because every inning they start with a runner on second. It's easier for the white Sox and red Sox to score each extra inning.
