You pushed your own MLA, Waheed, under the bus to clean up the mess created by your own remarks, only to publicly humiliate him when the damage couldn’t be contained but @parawahid you can say what she said is also AI.

There is no “if” or “but” here. People across Jammu & Kashmir were appalled by your statement. The only appropriate response is a clear and unconditional apology to every Kashmiri who was hurt, especially the victims of pellet injuries.

And while you’re at it, apologise for your “Doodh & Toffee” remark as well. If today’s statement was merely a “slip of the tongue,” are you suggesting those remarks reflected your actual position?

Finally, apologise for your alliance with the BJP and for bringing them to power in Jammu & Kashmir.

Everything else said today was simply an attempt to divert attention from the real issue: your original remarks.

The ill-informed LOP from the BJP was busy proclaiming that our government would collapse on June 3rd, spouting reckless and baseless remarks. Today, reality painted a starkly different picture. Every elected MP, MLA, even the independents, have rallied in full support of the National Conference and the leadership of Jb. @OmarAbdullah Sahib. A resolute decision has been taken that the fight for statehood will now be carried directly to Delhi. The BJP’s hollow prophecies crumble under the weight of unity and purpose and now, our battle for justice and dignity will echo in the heart of the nation, where empty rhetoric will no longer suffice.

The very soul of democracy lies in the will of the people, expressed through their elected representatives not in arbitrary appointments by an unelected authority.

When the LG is empowered to nominate members without the elected government’s aid and advice, it bypasses the mandate of the people and undermines the principle of representative governance.

This is not just a technical change it’s a blatant blow to the federal spirit and democratic ethos of our Constitution.
Democracy in J&K cannot survive on nominations and decrees, it thrives only when people’s voice is supreme.

This move is nothing short of a slow, systematic murder of democracy.

The killing of Parvez Ahmed in a police encounter yesterday is highly deplorable and raises serious concerns. The police force is entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining law and order and working for the betterment of society, not to eliminate innocent lives. Such misuse of power not only shakes public trust but also tarnishes the image of law enforcement agencies. We strongly urge the concerned authorities to initiate a thorough and time-bound inquiry into this incident. Whosoever is found guilty of this heinous act must be dealt with strictly and brought to justice without delay.

A grand Youth Convention was successfully organised today at the District Headquarters of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference in Udhampur, drawing enthusiastic participation from hundreds of young supporters across the district. The event was held under the leadership of Akash Verma, Additional Spokesperson, JKNC.

Aimed at mobilizing youth engagement in the party’s political and developmental vision, the convention underscored the growing trust of young people in JKNC’s commitment to safeguarding the rights and dignity of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

Prominent party leaders who attended the convention included District President (Urban) Sunil Verma, District President (Rural) Ram Parshotam Sharma, Senior Vice President Jawed Iqbal, District Secretary Ch. She was remembered with deep respect as floral tributes and garlands were offered in her honour. On this occasion, Sh. Sunil Verma Ji, Adv. Bharat Bhushan Ji, Sh.
