This message is from his brother.
I want to start by saying thank you to every single person who has reached out, shared something about him, or said something kind about my brother. I have read so many of your messages over the past days, and I honestly cannot put into words how much they mean to me and to my family.
My brother known to many of you as 4never, passed away one week ago after drowning in the sea. His funeral was held today and he has now been laid to rest.
He was genuinely the kindest person I have ever known. He was an amazing brother, an amazing son and someone who cared so much about the people around him.
I always knew how special he was to me and to our family, but this past week has shown us a completely different side of his life.
I didn't know how many people knew him through the editing community. I didn't know how much his work meant to people. Over the past week, I've spoken to some of his friends and seen just how many people loved and appreciated the work he created.
Seeing hundreds of people talk about him, share their memories, and tell us how talented he was has made us realize something we never fully knew while he was here.
He never really showed us his editing work. He never bragged about what he could do or made a big deal out of his talent. He just quietly did what he loved.
Seeing all of your messages has shown us how talented he really was and how many people his work reached. It means a lot to our family to know that something he created brought something to other people's lives.
He was also planning to start taking music more seriously.
Just one week before he passed, we recorded a track together with some of our friends, originally just for fun. We were messing around, making music together and enjoying ourselves, but we ended up talking about actually releasing it.
He told me that he wanted to start recording more, release his music, and upload it to all platforms. He was excited about it and it was something he was planning to make a bigger part of his life.
Because of that, I don't want his work to disappear.
I truly believe people deserve to hear his music and see the work he created. I will be sharing some of his music and his work here in the future.
This account will now be run by me, his brother, and I want to use it to share the things he was planning to share himself.
His music will be released because that was part of his plan. I want to make sure that the things he was excited about creating can still reach people.
To every person who has written about him, shared his work, reached out to our family, or simply left a kind message thank you.
You have shown us that he wasn't only an incredible person to us. He was an artist, an editor, a musician, a friend, a son, a brother, and someone who touched the lives of people we didn't even know about.
We are still trying to understand how someone so young and so full of life can suddenly be gone. But seeing how many people loved and respected him has brought us some comfort during the hardest week of our lives.
I would especially like to thank @cryinggsilence and @ih8feni for reaching out to us during this time. They helped us discover and understand just how talented my brother was and how much his work meant to the people around him. I will always be grateful to them for that.
And if there is one thing I want everyone reading this to take from what happened, it's this: tell the people closest to you that you love them.
Don't assume you'll always have another day to say it. Hug your family. Call your friends. Tell the people you care about what they mean to you.
That's one thing I wish I could have told my brother one more time.
Thank you for remembering him.
I hope that through his music, his editing, and everything he created, more people can get to know the person he was and the talent he had.
Rest in peace, brother 🕊️💔
I love you, and I'll make sure your work is heard.
I still can't believe it. You had so much more to show the world. You were one of the most talented people I've ever known. It wasn't supposed to end like this.
Rest in peace.
