@Re7Labs Decentralized Finance
"We were assured by the Stream CEO that their position was stable and unaffected by market events."
Will all my respect, you guys are absolute donkeys
I really hope no one will EVER deposit in your vaults
CLOWNS
📢 Announcement:
Some of the savUSD markets on Euler are at high capacity. We recommend that borrowers monitor their positions and consider repaying debt where appropriate.
@euler_mab@eulerfinance What about the liquidation mechanism that did not work? Yes I know why, because the price of the xUSD is hard coded in Euler protocol, so not correlated to the market. Even now, it is still written 1,27$ for 1 xUSD
@euler_mab@euler_mab please take real actions to impact Defi players to rescue. At this moment Euler and Mopho should stand out to help the lenders. You and curators earn money from us, we are fine if the platform is good but now trust on bullshxt permissionless model are crushing!
@euler_mab Please help instruct curators together rebalance their vaults to increase liquidity first! And ask impacted chain foundation to operate rescue fund!!
People have asked me for an update on whether we are working with any of the teams behind any of the insolvent assets.
We are not, but we are trying to.
Despite multiple attempts to contact the Elixir, Stream, and StableLabs teams, we have not yet received a response and hope they will open lines of communication as soon as possible.
If they are reading this, or if anyone can help us reach them, please get in touch.
I want to stress that while Euler had no control over the recent events and has no control of the underlying curated markets, our team has been working around the clock to support users and curators in every way we can.
We stand ready to provide the same level of assistance to the asset issuers to help facilitate recovery efforts, but they need to engage with us.
Although some have reportedly been in touch with third parties and expressed a willingness to cooperate with Euler and Euler users, we have yet to hear from them directly despite repeated outreach across multiple channels.
We want to help them do the right thing for affected users and minimise losses and damage as quickly as possible.
We therefore urge @elixir, @StreamDefi, and @StablesLabs to get in touch without delay to begin the conversation.
I wanted to see if 0xlaws claim that he is essentially zeroed out from stream and see if its true.
I located a series of bybit deposit addresses associated to 0xlaw and found the following:
https://t.co/N63Fm3E7Q3 - 545k deposited
https://t.co/Xi738ncHIj - 912k deposited
https://t.co/56SVPShe8W - 10k deposited
https://t.co/PJNhZnlr78 - 38k deposited
I then ran those addresses through @nansen_ai and found some interesting results
tldr: 0xlaw was using streams wallet to directly deposit funds to his bybit deposit wallet

Stream’s First Casualty: deUSD
1/ After Stream disclosed a $93M loss in user funds, Elixir’s deUSD and sdeUSD collapse became inevitable.
Elixir was key in Stream’s recursive xUSD minting loop and held $68M in USDC exposure to Stream, representing about 65% of deUSD’s backing.
What's wild to me is that "money & risk managers" aren't actually managing money. They just throw their deposits into random shit. Even worse, they clearly don't understand risk management.
Pro tip for other "investors": these products are on-chain. You can see everything happening under the hood. That's how open ledgers work.
How is it possible that professional money managers put funds into vaults based solely on reading a landing page? Because what other explanation is there?
The best part is that when I was pitching @stablewatchHQ at Stable Summit to "funds" this year, everyone claimed they had "amazing risk desks and monitoring" and that our pricing (the lowest in the market at that time of bootstrapping) was a "no-go."
Good luck managing people's money, everyone.
*Not hating on K3, I hope they recover. Just venting about the many "yield funds" I've encountered.
K3 Capital is threatening legal action against Elixir after a $68M loan to Stream Finance allegedly misrepresented risk and exposure.
DeFi transparency faces new pressure.
