@GilesPink Diablo 3 and some intense gaming time (along with therapy and general self-care) is what got me through the last couple of years. Since 2021 I’ve lost my dad, a good friend, two cats, had a bad breakup, and was in a horribly toxic job. Seeing this gave me all the warm fuzzies.

@holly Aaaand then there’s Squeak, my old man. We knew it was time; heart failure at 18.5 years old. Again, didn’t expect him to live that long as he was born in a barn, but he was spoiled and lived a good life. I still cry every day. He was my soul.

@holly Which was about 13 years. She suddenly formed kidney stones that were all blocking the good kidney and were compacted. Couldn’t locate a trauma/kidney surgeon (we would have, too!). I still tear up remembering her.
